About me and my work

I originally came from Japan. Between 2005 - 2009 I studied Ceramics in London at University of Westminster (The Harrow Course). After completing the Course I set up a Ceramic Studio with my partner in Malvern.

 

I make animals, mainly horses, hippos, cats and birds. Each animal is hand made. My idea of making animals comes from the time I was working with horses at stables. I like working with animals. Their behaviour is so absorbing and entertaining that I feel they could almost talk. I would like to share this through the ceramics I make and hope that the animals I create will bring a smile to your face.
